Introduction to Hypnotherapy with Cindy Locher, BCH
Come and find out if hypnotherapy, and the MHA, is for you! Two Introductory Days are scheduled: Saturday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
Hypnotherapy is an amazing tool, whether you plan to use it to build your own practice, to help yourself and your friends, or even just as a hobby. This Introduction to Hypnotherapy Day is the perfect introduction to hypnotherapy, ideal for absolute beginners to learn some “basics” of hypnosis, for licensed mental health practitioners considering adding hypnotherapy to their skills, and for anyone else looking to expand their knowledge of hypnotherapy. This is also a great way to find out if the Midwest Hypnotherapy Academy training style is right for you!
This intensive one-day workshop is run by Cindy Locher, Board Certified Hypnotist. This day-long training blends theory with practical applications to offer a foundation in your understanding of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, and your own self-mastery. It’s one thing to read about hypnotherapy techniques, but the real learning happens when you actually have a chance to practice with real people, with a real International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) Trainer to guide you.
Score your ticket for Saturday, January 21 by clicking here.
Score your ticket for Wednesday, January 25 by clicking here.
As mentioned, this is a great opportunity to figure out if our full IMDHA approved course is the right choice for you, because there’s no point joining a course if you don’t like the trainer! We’re sure you’ll like how we create a learning environment at the MHA, but just for your peace of mind, you can come along and meet Cindy in person for a full day of learning, laughing and fun (not to mention loads of hypnosis!).
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- Hypnotic inductions (actually hypnotizing people)
- Wake up process
- Myths and misconceptions about hypnosis
- Hypnotic state deepeners
- A little hypnosis history
- Hypnotherapy session structuring
- Hypnotic anchoring techniques
- Hypnotherapy safety and ethics
- Scope of a hypnotherapist
Who should attend?
- Anyone is welcome*
- Absolutely no experience required
- You don’t need to know ANYTHING about hypnosis
- You need to WANT to learn to do hypnotherapy
- By attending, you are not obliged to sign up to any further training with us
- Whether you’re male or female, young or old, you’re more than welcome – so come along!
*Must be 18+. If you have psychological disorders (such as psychosis, clinical depression, schizophrenia, etc), we advise that you do not attend this course.
Who is this course for?
This Introduction to Hypnotherapy course is intended for people who are considering enrolling in a full hypnotherapy course to add hypnotherapy skills to an existing practice or career, or pursuing hypnotherapy as a new career.
This course is the ideal opportunity for you to meet Cindy Locher, BCH and to try out hypnotherapy training before you decide whether hypnotherapy is the right career choice for you. This course doesn’t include a “hard sell” because we know our training is excellent, so we don’t need to do that! This free “taster day” is full of real content!
The content of this course is aimed at people who are seriously considering hypnotherapy training. If you simply have general questions about hypnotherapy, or if you want a personal hypnotherapy session, then this course isn’t for you, but do get in touch, I’m happy to help!
For those considering enrolling in Level 1, Cindy’s next class will commence in February 2017. Classes are limited to 6 to 8 people, and class dates are established when the course section is closed. This way we can find the days that work best for everyone so that class days and timing are not an obstacle to your education. If you are interested in enrolling in Level 1 Hypnotherapy you are encouraged (but not required) to attend one of these Introduction to Hypnotherapy days.
When: Saturday, January 21, 2017 and Wednesday, January 25, 2017. 10 AM to 4 PM both days.
Cost: $49 (applied to your tuition if you choose to enroll),
