Mind Body Techniques for Anxiety Reduction

Anxiety is a growing problem affecting many people; anxiety disorders are on the rise as our society becomes more complicated and more stressful. For many sufferers, the medications prescribed may reduce the reactions, but not overcome the anxiety entirely. This class teaches several mind/body techniques that naturally and effectively stop anxiety at its source, without the side effects of medication. You will learn the causes of anxiety, how to recognize and control your own reactions quickly and naturally, and learn tools to prevent anxiety from reoccurring.

For the holistic practitioner, this course will provide you with new ways of understanding and describing to your client the underlying causes of their anxiety, and how nothing within them is “broken.”  You will also learn a variety of effective techniques to teach to your clients.
